Hi, this has been persistent for a couple of years now with iOS. Sound will frequently glitch out when playing with AirPods in, sounding like a distorted 8-bit video game with echo effects.
Workaround: Goes back to normal if I start to play music on the native iPhone app, though the bug can activate again while the music is playing, in which case the music will distort as well until I pause and unpause.
Would have reported sooner but at first I thought it was an issue with my AirPods Pro 2 themselves. But then I upgraded to 3 and it persisted, and across multiple phones. Eventually realized that only happens when I’m playing SPD. It’s the main activity on my phone, so that wasn’t obvious at first. ㌨
