We are using your distributor plugin to pull blog posts that contain images in an S3 bucket and are concerned that if we push after updating that it would mess something up since the stored file isnt local. Is there any potential issues or are we safe to update?

There were changes in the 2.1.0 release around finding and updating image URLs within content but there shouldn't be any impact there in regards to how those images themselves are distributed (or not distributed if you have the media setting turned off).

I don't think any of those changes should impact setups where images are stored in an S3 bucket but I also don't believe we tested that particular scenario.

My suggestion, if possible, would be to test the update either locally or in a staging environment before updating production to ensure things still work for your setup. Happy to look into fixes if you do run into a problem.
