Some publishers may track, report, and provide advertising to more diverse segments than just "male/female". This issue is opened to track feedback from the publisher community on alternate options they would like on their Media Kit page.

Noting that tracy apps shared some feedback on this via Twitter:

i would recommend having it be a variable: no. demographic boxes to display->(user chooses)
then that no. of boxes is generated not only would this help validate the existence of a rapidly growing number of people, this also would allow publishers to break down demographics by age, ethnicity, ability, or any other number of stats they gather.
