@mahnunchik This looks fixed in the upstream harttle/liquidjs#375 issue, but… looking at the messages, it might have landed in liquidjs@9.26.0. Which means you'd need to be using @11ty/eleventy 1.0.0 beta channel in order to see the fix; npm i @11ty/eleventy@beta.
From the looks of npm info liquidjs version (or https://www.npmjs.com/package/liquidjs) the latest published liquidjs version to npm is 9.28.5, which based on my quick checks should be the version included in @11ty/eleventy 1.0.0-beta.8 (so that's good news).

I'm trying to go through https://liquidjs.com/tutorials/options.html#Date and see if there is maybe something else that needs to be set to get this working w/ eleventy@beta builds. Not sure yet if I have to possibly shim my own version of Eleventy in, or if we can use .setLiquidOptions().

edit: switching to beta worked just fine for me

@kingpin24 I filed harttle/liquidjs#431 and it looks like it was resolved fixed in LiquidJS@9.28.6.
But Eleventy v1.0.0 is stable now, so I think it should also work in the release channel.

weird, i believe i was using v1 stable previously and it started working only after i switched to beta

That's curious...
@11ty/eleventy@beta is actually older than @latest, so I wouldn't have expected the liquidjs version to be newer/different.
Although if you install the canary build, [via npm i @11ty/eleventy@canary], you would get a slightly newer pre-release version.

Just checked back in here, I don’t think this is quite working how I’d expect.

Specifically, as far as I can tell there is no way to output UTC dates from the date Liquid filter. Specifically, there is no way to output values from .getUTCFullYear() or .getUTCDate() or .getUTCMonth().

For the record, the best way forward may be to supply a separate Liquid filter for dateutc or something—though it’s complex enough that it’d be much nicer to have something in Liquid that does this (and re-uses the existing code from the date filter)
