Periodic 502s on the /schools endpoint

I ran across this in my other job. My class is learning APIs and one of my students found that you get a 502 error every 6 or so calls, when paging though https://api.data.gov/ed/collegescorecard/v1/schools?api_key=DEMO_KEY&school.degrees_awarded.highest=2&school.ownership=1
