Nice work — thanks for sharing this improvement. Using a rubber band for automatic return is a clever and simple solution. I also like that you widened the design to support more micro switch options, which should make sourcing parts easier for others. Really appreciate you publishing the STL files on Thingiverse as well. Community contributions like this are very valuable for the project and give others more options to experiment and improve their own builds. Thanks again for taking the time to design, test, and share this. |

Hi Carlos, My lever switch is able to return unassisted/without a rubber band as the lever arm of the micro switch I used is angled upwards rather than straight like the one in your picture. The switch paddle rests on the roller/lever arm and maintains contact with it throughout the movement. But your design is much more flexible and like mentioned above supports a much wider variety of micro switches, thank you so much for putting this together! There are a few more improvements I'd like to make to my own build - now that winter is over and it's starting to warm up again I'll have more opportunities to string racquets and continue refining the ZeroBETH. One of the projects I'm planning on starting is porting the latest changes/improvements of PicoBETH over to the ZeroBETH codebase and optimizing. Also planning on experimenting with the 4" LCD display that Kuo originally envisioned for the ZeroBETH, but that's far beyond my skillset currently 😆 but I'll try my best. |

Re-engineered the Wise 2086 lever switch provided by @vincentn1998 . It now uses a rubber band to automatically return the lever to the top position after being depressed.
Key changes:
Increased the width to accommodate wider micro switches
Added slots and tongues to route and secure a rubber band, which pulls the lever back to the top after activation
