I am asking in advance because I'm only planning on installing the power monitoring socket. There is only one socket available that is mostly used for washing machine but sometimes it is used for other devices like hair dryer for example. Since those devices have much different power profiles, is it possible for this integration to automatically discard these usages, so it won't accidentally detect that as a washing cycle? |

its not possible to feasibly predict unpredictable usage of devices. We have threshold for detection to start/end and minimum runtime required, but I dont want to implement something that will try to filter out completely unpredictable data becuase it will make already difficult detection and prediction even more difficult and especially more unreliable.
Yes one of the way to bypass this would be to tinker with advanced settings to terminate these or create a dummy profile.
