Failed to check password status Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'split') errors

Hi, Everyone
My Environment is:

• CentOS 8 Stream;
• cockpit.x86_64 version: 276.1-1.el8
• cockpit-identities-0.1.10-1.el8
• cockpit-file-sharing-3.2.9-2.el8
  I can add users successfully, however the web pages report this error while creating users:

Failed to check password status
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'split')

How can I resolve this error, tks~
