v4 will follow Fastify v4, with a few breaking changes:

• Remove fastify as a dependency, and move it to a peer dependency
• Remove deprecated APIs
  • routesDir
  • configure
• Implement log redaction as a Pino v7+ transport in a worker thread
• Update Sentry features (Add Sentry tracing #414)
• Add a story for error reporting using RFC-7807 (RFC-7807 for errors #415)

Hi @franky47, great library. Is there future planned maintenance/updates for v4 or would your recommend a different library?

I've been running 4.0.0-beta.7 for a while in production, if you haven't already, can you try that and see if it works for you? With a few deps update to keep things fresh I could ship that to GA.
