im trying do build the pong example to learn how to do networking, but it keeps on saying source/PlayState.hx:38: characters 23-41 : Type not found : mphx.client.Client and i dont know what to do!

Hi! Sorry, but I'm not in a position to maintain this at the moment, and it's really not particularly stable. If you can, I'd look for alternative libraries.

That said, how did you install mphx? If you haven't installed it at all, you'll need to do either:
haxelib git mphx git@github.com:5Mixer/mphx.git or
haxelib install mphx
