Issues with auto-scrolling when entering channel route

I don't remember exactly when it happened, but for a while now, the auto-scrolling to the bottom of the channel container isn't working correctly anymore. Oftentimes, it's just a small area of whitespace that is cut off, but sometimes you end up in the middle of the channel history, too.
