i think you're on the wrong repo. this is a file server, not an os. there isn't a bootable image, there's just a python script

nah he's right, there is in fact a bootable flashdrive image (link below), and also a bootable cdrom ("miniparty") which is severely limited in features to make it smaller -- but I just realized that I think the iso broke when I upgraded to alpine 3.22, so I was gonna look into that before replying :>

there is now two iso images which are at least able to boot when I test them in a VM, however please note that i do not recommend using ventoy for this:

I do not expect the second one to work -- and even if it does then this will still officially be unsupported -- but will be fun to hear how it goes :>
