mtg+xray chain proxy does not work.

I had a mtg+xray chain proxy running fine.

Then I had to switch to another xray proxy, and it stopped working.

1. The new xray proxy works fine on the server where mtg is deployed, tested by curl -x
2. The mtg deployment is totally untuched.
3. mtg is set to use the xray proxy
4. Access is seen from mtg on the server end of the xray proxy
5. mtproxy does not connect in Telegram

What's possibly wrong?
