trackchanges \deleted in twocolumn format cuts off text after first lin

I'm using trackchanges in a two column (aastex631.cls) document and the \deleted command only shows the first line of text with a strikethrough and prints the rest of the text off the page. Attached a screenshot of the issue. Please help. My referee report is due soon.

Hi, thank you for reporting this bug. I don't know if this is a known issue so I'll ping @gregschwarz . However you should know that trackchanges is no longer permitted for revisions. The Scientific Editors deemed it a distraction and asked it no longer be used. Even though trackchanges is still in the AASTeX code base we ask that you fall back to using only bold for changed text.
