Restructuring comments

There are files containing multi-line comments (3+) without any significant reason.
An example: frontend/src/pages/SearchResults/SearchResults.tsx
frontend/src/utils/PFPutils/cropImage.ts
frontend/src/utils/PFPutils/pickImagePFP.ts
frontend/src/layout/layout.tsx
and other files.

A slop audit would be great to increase readability of the code.

This is actually something I was planning to tackle as well! One PR that cleans it all.

Although, if you’d like, I’m happy to assign the issue to you @VanshajPoonia.

The reason we’re being a bit more thoughtful about comments is that we’re moving towards a repository that’s more AI-assisted-development friendly. In that context, comments become more valuable. While many large or multi-line comments should definitely be cleaned up, some may contain useful context that explains why a particular implementation was chosen over what might otherwise seem like the more obvious or sensible approach. That kind of reasoning can be helpful for both future contributors and AI models.
