Windows VS Wsl2

For those who have tested the web UI on both Windows and WSL2, how does the performance on WSL2 compare to Windows? Is it better, worse, or the same?

I'm asking because, on WSL2, being a "Linux," it supports Python packages that Windows does not, such as Triton, TensorFlow (GPU), etc. Is there any significant difference in using WSL2 compared to Windows?

you should be able to use WSL without issue
computational performance wise (like generative images) should be about the same speed

base on my qick test, WSL2 is even a bit faster when performing image generation but within margin of error

note
if you have your file stored on Windows and access via WSL

as in sorte SD modules in C:/sd_models/xxx.safetensor access through /mnt/c/sd_models/xxx.safetensor

then your model loading might be significantly slower

win-win 2 sec, wsl-win 30sec, wsl-wsl 2 sec

That was my main question. I had seen someone mention it, but I wasn't sure. I usually keep everything on the Windows instance and/or use symlinks.
