How to Request Account and Data Deletion

Vintage World - User Data Deletion Process

This guide explains how you can request the complete deletion of your Vintage World account and all associated personal data.

🗑️ What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • ✅ Your user account and profile information
  • ✅ Personal details (name, email, phone number, addresses)
  • ✅ Order history and transaction records
  • ✅ Shopping cart and wishlist items
  • ✅ Saved preferences and settings
  • ✅ Authentication credentials and tokens
  • ✅ All browsing and usage data

Note: Some data may be retained for legal and compliance purposes (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention) as required by law.

Step 1: Compose an Email

Step 3: Include Required Information

In your email, please include:

  1. Your registered email address (the one you use to log into the app)
  2. Your full name (as it appears in your account)
  3. Reason for deletion (optional, but helps us improve)
  4. Confirmation statement: "I confirm that I want to permanently delete my Vintage World account and all associated data."

⏱️ Processing Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
  • Processing Time: Account deletion will be completed within 7 business days
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

⚠️ Important Notes

Before You Delete

  • Irreversible: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Active Orders: Cancel any pending orders before requesting deletion
  • Data Export: Request a copy of your data if you want to keep it (see below)
  • Payment Issues: Resolve any outstanding payment or refund issues

Data Export (Optional)

If you want a copy of your data before deletion, include this request in your email:

We will provide you with a downloadable copy of your data within 3 business days before proceeding with deletion.
