network issues with open RV

I'm having an issue with network permissions. I can open a sequence in RV but it can't write to my network folder in windows 10.
Anyone had this issue? I've tried adjusting permissions on the .exe and the folder itself but can't get it to write except the local hard drive.

I've tried everything but rv.exe will only write to my C: drive. I've checked permissions etc.
Anyone else ever have an issue with this? It's a shame because it's a great app but I won't be able to use it until I can figure out how to give it permissions.

I've tried all the usual - run as administrator - checked all the windows permissions - it should work but doesn't.

Maybe I should sate that this is a really simple setup. Just a NAS. There is no proxy setup as far as I can tell but nothing I have tried will allow me to write to the network using open rv.
