For the region layer, could you please enable it so that it completely ignores the main prompts?

i just wanna isolate an area where i can define whole new prompts without getting affected by the base prompts.
atm i have to just open a new document and alternate between the old one and interchange the results

I think this happens if you have any sort of overlay - iirc setting all the selection feathering or expanding to 0 can help with this.

It will merge only with the root prompt. If you don't want that, just leave the root prompt empty.
