Style prompt not used when the UI prompt field is empty?

If the selected style has a style prompt in the settings that is supposed to be appended to all prompts that use that style, but if you leave the UI positive prompt field empty, then the style prompt is not appended or used in the generation. Why is that? Is this intentional? The negative style prompt is applied if the negative prompt field in the UI is empty, but not when the positive field is empty. If this is not the intended function this discussion can be turned into an issue.

It's intended. Using only the style prompt as prompt is usually bad: "cinematic photo" will generate image of a film camera, "artwork" will generate brushes, etc.

But using empty prompt can be useful for inpaint.

But what if I set up styles which already incorporate the specific prompts I want to use in the style prompt setting? I can't just leave the UI prompt blank, or it won't apply the prompts I've set up in the settings. I have gotten around this by just adding something to the UI prompt field, but this seems like a workaround that shouldn't be necessary. Maybe I'm just using the style prompt setting as "saved prompts" which is not its intended use. Perhaps there could be a separate "saved prompts" feature?
