• Telecommute #935 - merged 🥳
• Estimation enhancements #917 - have at least partial review in #976, some changes needed
• Fix test #978 - fixes external test, will merge if test passes

Explicit Error Terms Visualization

• Viz filtering #10 - still marked as draft, still has active work

PopulationSim

• PopulationSim #192 - lots of review comments, no activity for a couple weeks

SANDAG Example Model

• Settings Checker for Extensions #31 - @andkay reviewed comments, need to coordinate with @jpn-- to make sure tests are sufficient.
• Example model configs for telecommute_status model #30 - approved to merge, pending @i-am-sijia fixing the target pipeline file.

Executive Summary

The team reviewed current pull request status, including merged telecommute and estimation enhancements pull requests, with ongoing work on visualization and PopulationSim components. Task order scopes have been finalized for WSP and RSG, with CS scope pending final review. The group discussed coordinating an ActivitySim gathering at the upcoming MOMO conference, considering various dining and networking options during the event.

Pull Request Status Updates

Jeff Newman provided comprehensive updates on active pull requests. The telecommute pull request has been successfully merged, and the estimation enhancements pull request received partial review from John Gliebe, who identified an issue with coefficient handling when editing spec files. A new pull request was opened to fix broken tests related to pandas 2 compatibility branches across external models.

The visualization explicit error terms pull request remains in draft status with active development continuing. For the PopulationSim pull request, while many review comments were received, not all will be addressed before merging, with some designated as longer-term improvements.

SANDAG Example Model

Andrew reviewed and tested the SANDAG example model based on Jeff's comments. While the model functions correctly, the settings checker requires additional testing to verify it would catch errors in full model runs versus component-by-component testing.

Documentation Issues

Jeff identified synchronization problems with the 1.4.0 documentation release, where the GitHub pages site incorrectly displays 1.3 documentation instead of the current 1.4 version. Work is underway to develop GitHub actions tools that will enable manual republishing of documentation from previous commits to resolve such issues in the future.

Task Order Finalizations

Joe Castiglione confirmed that task order scopes are complete for WSP and RSG, with final versions sent to both teams. The CS scope requires minor revisions, with Rachel Copperman conducting a final review. Jeff Newman's scope was finalized via email during the meeting. Joe also confirmed PMC approval for Zephyr's contract execution.

MOMO Conference Coordination

The team discussed organizing an ActivitySim group gathering during the MOMO conference. We expect everyone will be busy with numerous conflicting priorities, especially in the evenings. Alternative options discussed included claiming a lunch table, organizing informal pub gatherings, or coordinating around the Sunday afternoon ActivitySim workshop at 3:30 PM where five agencies will present updates.
