AdGuard VPN CLI version
1.7.12
Environment
- OS: Debian 13 Trixie (latest)
- Architecture: x86-64
Issue Details
Steps to reproduce:
- Attempt to connect via adguardvpn-cli connect -l [location].
- The VPN will show a "Successfully connected to [location]" message.
- Attempt to start the Adguard service via adguard-cli start.
- Oftentimes, the Adguard service will not be able to start citing a lack of internet connection.
- When I attempt to use any other network connected app (such as a web browser), I'll get connection failure error messages.
- In order to restore internet access, I often have to disconnect and reconnect to the VPN; sometimes three, four, or even as many as five times.
Expected Behavior
When I connect to the VPN, I expect that all of my desktop apps will get a network connection (unless the server they are trying to connect to blocks the VPN's IP address).
Actual Behavior
Sometimes on the first (or even second, third, fourth, or fifth) time that I connect to the VPN, no other app on my desktop computer will get network access.
