My First Panel extension - Need Help

1. I have followed the "6 steps" to create an CEP extension for illustrator 2023.
2. The zip for "My First Panel" is attached
3. The folder resides inside the following path
   
4. Inside Illustrator, I can see it being added to Window > Extensions> My First Panel as shown below
   

But when "My First Panel" is clicked" --> It is empty!!!

Am I missing something. Please reveiw the attached zip and let me know.

5. Similarly, I tried UISamples which is provided as CEP samples, but I am facing the same problem. In the images above, you can see that UI samples menu is also available

Usually when Illustrator throws a blank panel it's a manifest issue. I tried your panel using both:

<Host Name="ILST" Version="26.5.2" />      

and also:

<Host Name="ILST" Version="26" />

In Illustrator version 27.0.1 on macOS 12.5.1 (Monterey) and I could see your button (the panel was not blank).

Did you already set the Debug mode? It may be com.adobe.CSXS.9 instead of com.adobe.CSXS.8 these days...

You could try running Illustrator as an administrator (if you're on Windows) 🤔...
