Feature Request: Support for RTSP Output in OvenMediaEngine

Hello,

Currently, OvenMediaEngine (OME) does not support RTSP output.
Adding this functionality would significantly expand OME’s versatility. While OME already supports WebRTC, RTMP, and HLS, the ability to stream via RTSP would be beneficial for use cases like live-streaming services and security camera systems, which rely on RTSP.

Is there any future planning or roadmap for adding RTSP output support to OvenMediaEngine?
This feature would enhance its flexibility and broaden its application in various environments.

OvenMediaEngine currently supports LLHLS, HLS, WebRTC, and SRT as output protocols.

I haven't seen many cases of "playing" RTSP recently. It doesn't support it well on the web or mobile, and SRT seems to be used a lot for server-to-server transmission. However, since security cameras still support RTSP output a lot, OME also supports RTSP input.

Can you give me an example of a case where RTSP playback is supported?

While SRT and other protocols are growing, RTSP is still critical in industries like security and surveillance, where many IP cameras rely on RTSP for streaming to NVRs or monitoring systems.

For example, in security camera systems, RTSP is widely used for integration with existing setups, and in live event streaming, it's a common choice for low-latency, real-time feeds.

Adding RTSP output to OME would increase its interoperability with legacy systems and expand its use in environments where RTSP is still the standard.

Many RTSP camera monitoring systems (which are likely applications rather than web-based) only support RTSP playback. Would it be correct to understand that this is necessary for that reason? I haven't had many opportunities to work with that type of monitoring system, so I'm not very familiar with it.
