Thanks for the idea. This has been moved to Discussion. OvenMediaEngine currently supports LLHLS, HLS, WebRTC, and SRT as output protocols. I haven't seen many cases of "playing" RTSP recently. It doesn't support it well on the web or mobile, and SRT seems to be used a lot for server-to-server transmission. However, since security cameras still support RTSP output a lot, OME also supports RTSP input. Can you give me an example of a case where RTSP playback is supported? |

Hello,
Currently, OvenMediaEngine (OME) does not support RTSP output.
Adding this functionality would significantly expand OME’s versatility. While OME already supports WebRTC, RTMP, and HLS, the ability to stream via RTSP would be beneficial for use cases like live-streaming services and security camera systems, which rely on RTSP.
Is there any future planning or roadmap for adding RTSP output support to OvenMediaEngine?
This feature would enhance its flexibility and broaden its application in various environments.
Thank you for considering this request!
