Examples of positive behavior include:
- showing empathy and respect for different viewpoints and experience levels;
- giving specific, constructive technical feedback;
- accepting responsibility, apologizing when appropriate, and repairing harm;
- keeping disagreement focused on code, evidence, risk, and project goals; and
- respecting privacy, security boundaries, maintainer decisions, and contributor attribution.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- sexualized language, imagery, or unwanted attention;
- trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, threats, or personal attacks;
- public or private harassment;
- publishing another person's private information without explicit permission;
- pressuring contributors to disclose credentials, private data, or employer information;
- impersonating the project or claiming ungranted merge, release, or representation authority; and
- other conduct that would reasonably be inappropriate in a professional community.
This policy applies in repository issues, pull requests, discussions, reviews, release coordination, and other public or private spaces where someone represents ProductLoop OS.
Project maintainer @AjnasNB is responsible for interpreting and enforcing this policy and may edit or remove contributions, comments, commits, code, issues, or other material that violates it. Responses may include a correction request, warning, temporary restriction, or permanent exclusion, depending on context and impact.
Report conduct concerns to @AjnasNB through GitHub. Do not post sensitive details publicly. When a report requires a private channel, use the repository's private reporting route described in SECURITY.md and identify the submission as a code-of-conduct report. Reports will be reviewed with respect for the privacy and safety of the reporter and affected people.
Retaliation against someone who raises a good-faith concern is not permitted. The maintainer will disclose information only as reasonably necessary to review and respond to the report.
