🐛 Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Services Won't Start

Problem: Port already in use

Solution:

# Find and kill process on port 3000
netstat -ano | findstr :3000
taskkill /PID <PID> /F

# Or use different ports in config files

Blockchain Chain Invalid

Problem: Chain validation fails

Solution:

// Reset blockchain (development only!)
DELETE http://localhost:8001/blockchain/reset

// Or restart service
cd blockchain-main
npm start

AI Extraction Low Confidence

Problem: Confidence scores below 70%

Causes:

  • Poor image quality
  • Handwritten text
  • Non-standard form format

Solutions:

  1. Pre-process image (increase contrast)
  2. Use higher resolution scan
  3. Manual review and correction

Map Not Loading

Problem: Google Maps shows blank

Solution:

  1. Check API key in .env
  2. Verify billing is enabled
  3. Check browser console for errors
  4. Clear browser cache
