Description
1: Assuming this is "Not Abandoned" as sources seem to point out, I highly expect this to receive an update alongside the eventual new stable release for the desktop versions.
2: The android version is entirely incapable of proper sign in. I can't add an account that already exist on device, either fix the login flow or move to something like Micro-G if possible. (Not negotiable unless you remove account features completely.)
I explicitly state "Not negotiable ..." because of the following statement main on the main docs for the desktop release. (Linux release)
Intended to behave like and have the featureset of Google Chrome, with differences/patches/enhancements listed below.
