Synchro Problem

What’s the best way to debug the synchro issue and setpoint issue? I guess that’s why SAT isn’t modifying the t_set at all?

Ok getting closer with this. Great work by the way. My primary temp and humidity were returning unavailable due to Zigbee signal.

I think now my error is something to do with the requested setpoint as it’s going to struggle to hit 147.9

For SAT to be fully in control, the SAT climate entity must be in heat mode. If it’s not, SAT will not actively manage the system.

Also, I can see that the SAT room setpoint is 25 °C. Normally, this value should follow the setpoint of your main/reference room specifically, the same room that you have configured as the inside temperature sensor for SAT.

If that room’s setpoint is higher than expected ( or mismatched ), SAT will legitimately calculate a very high requested boiler setpoint ( like the ~148 you’re seeing ), because from its perspective the demand is still unmet.

So please double-check:

1. SAT climate entity is in heat

2. The main/reference room setpoint is correct and aligned with your expectations

3. The inside sensor room and control room are the same (or intentionally different)

Once those are aligned, the requested setpoint should immediately normalize. If not feel free to contact again!

@sergeantd83 thanks for the message, I am making progress. I am using Versatile Thermostat also and the central boiler function and sending climate.ufh_boiler/climate.set_hvac_mode/hvac_mode:heat or climate.ufh_boiler/climate.set_hvac_mode/hvac_mode:off to the SAT when Versatile is calling for heat from say 3 or 4 of the zones.

I am struggling with what the SAT controls do and if I should maybe switch to using this to control the boiler switch on, if each zone has seperate temperatures set how do I decide what to set the SAT Control to? eg the Gym wants to be 16 but the lounge wants to be 20? I note that SAT does track the actual set values.

I think my boiler is probbaly oversized, especially when only may one or small two loops are coming on, I am trying to wait until there is a bit more demand for the boiler.
