Hello, I wanted to build an Allsky Cam with my Raspberry Pi but now my question is which lens should I buy for the Raspberry Pi hq camera? or which one would you recommend?

How wide of a field of view (FOV) do you want?
The lens @chvvkumar is using is 3.2 mm and has a 120 FOV which is well suited to the amount of trees he has.
Most people go with 180 FOV if there are few obstructions, usually 2.1 or 2.5 mm.
It also depends on whether you want a full circle or some of the sides cut off.

Many people prefer the Arecont f2.0 1.55mm lens for a full 180 degree view (with the HQ camera), but it can be hard to come by these days.

I have found that the M12 f2.0 1.56mm lens you can buy on Amazon/eBay/etc has almost the same exact performance and I suspect they may be the same lens. Keep in mind you would also have to purchase a CS-mount to M12 adapter to use one of these, but it would still be less than half the price of the Arecont lens.
