JB, thanks for posting. I am Eric. I also get occasional purple images and I have seen other people with ZWO cameras get them. When you see a purple image, post the image name and attach /var/log/allsky.log. I will then know where to look in the log file. Ditto for a bright image. |

I have seen the same behavior on at least one camera on indi-allsky. Specifically, it was an ASI224MC. I suspect the issue was caused by the camera reading the image sensor with the wrong offset, which means the debayer algorithm renders incorrect colors. It seemed to happen at random and affected very few frames. |

Hello, I was told by Eric to start a discussion here regarding some "bright" images and a few "discolored" images making it into the final timelapse video. I'm wondering if there is some settings I need to adjust to keep the images from getting in. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've included the .jpeg images of the problem photos as well as the following photos in the sequence. I have also included screenshots to provide wider context to what surrounds the problem photos. Hopefully these will help!
Thanks again!
JB
