The Website page refreshes every 5 second by default but can be changed. What kind of information are you looking for? A future version of the WebUI will have a "reports" type page. |

Perhaps it may be advantageous to view the update of certain sensitive
functions or parameters of the Allsky code. I am just thinking out loud and
I may be pedantic about these things.

At the top of the Live View page, it says what its refresh rate is -
something like half the delay between pictures plus the maximum exposure
time. It can't be changed directly.

In the WebUI/System page, it is showing these things, but it does not
refresh without manually clicking the refresh button. I know the RPi does
not have a default "System Monitor" app like that in UBUNTU or Task Manager
like in Windows. Being able to see a self-updating histogram for the past
minute/hour/day of these parameters plus the input/output activity on
network/ethernet, and the disk usage on all disks would be something to
consider.
Uptime 14 hours 20 minutes
SD Card 28.69 GB (19.19 GB free)
Throttle Status
No throttling
Memory Used
6%
CPU Load
0%
CPU Temperature
103.9°F
Disk Usage
33%

@Alex-developer, is something like this in the new GUI? I seem to recall a "reports" page. |

Yes (ish) All of the pages are auto updating so for example on the systems page all of the values will be updated dependent on the 'update speed' buttons For the network the values are updated every second and interfaces added and removed as they are added / removed bear in mind that these are prototype screens so will most likely change |

Not to be pedantic, what would be really cool is a user configurable
histogram (updates per unit time) like that seen in the "System Monitor"
app in UBUNTU or the "Task Manager" in Windows. This will help determine
performance of the RPi over time. The time spans of AllSky activity is
seconds to days; just saying.

It may be prudent to add certain reports in the WebUI. Watching my RPi push the image.jpg file to its WebUI and my Synology Web Server, I notice the Web Server image.jpg file appears to update before the RPi WebUI Page. I am guessing here but there may be a way to fine tune the performance of Allsky settings (especially for novices like me) with real time reports of certain files and functions launching and arriving to their respective targets; sort of like that seen in Window's Task Manager, maybe even a separate Web page for this interface so it can be easily turned on and off, and mounted on a second networked machine for observation. I know that measuring performance can take a hit on what is being measured but tweaking things based on timing reports may go a long way toward gaining better control and understanding of this wonderful Application. Allowing these Task reports to be turned on and off will unburden the RPi from reporting these Parameters to the user interface during normal operation.
