archiving files using FTP transfer

Hello,

I would like to use the FTP upload feature to archive all of the Allsky images, timelapse and Keograms on a local FTP server. (NAS)

It works fine, but all the files are uploaded in the same folder. At the end, I get a single folder with several thousands files in it. This is not useful and it's hard to manage.

if possible, I would like the FTP upload process to create a sub folder using the current date. basically, the same folder structure that is present on the Raspberry PI.

Is it possible to do that without modifying the script manually ?

@jfharvey, if you treat your NAS as a remote Allsky Website and set up ftp-settings.sh correctly, the timelapse, startrails, and keograms will be uploaded to videos, startrails, and keograms directories, respectively.
Only the current image.jpg file is uploaded, and is overwritten every time. Allsky currently has no built-in capability to archive the image.jpg files, although you could create a module that uploaded the image-YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.jpg files. You would need something on the NAS that created the YYYYMMDD folders.
