how can I access the pi's ftp server

My SD card in the Pi is slowly but surely full. Now I want to delete some pictures. but how can I get to the server's fpt?

I can't find the login details...

I just wanted to access the Pi's card using Finder

I use scp to grab data off my pi. It's like ssh but for transferring files instead of a remote shell.

@4358haltern, if "Finder" is the Apple equivalent of Windows "Explorer", SAMBA works with it as well.

@4358haltern, if you want to transfer files via drag and drop to a Mac or PC, then yes, you need to install Samba on the Pi. Your Pi's home directory will appear as a remote file share (or whatever Mac calls it).

Use FileZilla FTP on your host pc to access allsky files, just fill in the allsky ip, login name (pi) allsky password and port (22) to initiate FTP on the allsky. FTP is always available on the allsky.

Thanks @bbillp. It's good to have a second way to transfer files. I think a lot of people will find samba a lot easier if they can determine how to mount a disk on their PC.
