time lapse stopped being made Jan 16. NONE since then

As above, with the additional information that the Keograms and star trails ARE being made each night. I dont know why the allsky time lapse fails now.

Second: I see a new version is available but I do not see any upgrade instructions anywhere.. Will I lose all my settings? Will my constellation overlay be reset? Will my settings be overwritten?

A set of upgrade instructions would be welcome but I didnt see it specifically in the wiki. Further, I am 2600 miles from it and would have to upgrade remotely via command l ine.

So 1: nightly time lapse stopped working back on Jan 16
and 2: Cant find any upgrade instructions. with questions above in play.

The Documentation link in the WebUI has a LOT of useful information - how to install Allsky and the Website, what every setting is, what a "startrails" and "keogram" is, lots of troubleshooting tips, and much more.
It should always be your first stop when you have a question or problem.
We update the documentation often based on user feedback, in fact, I updated a few pages this week based on difficulties users were having.
