Hi friends,

after the death of my older USB stick I decided to install the new version of the AllSky software. Now I try to edit all parameters, but I cannot find the configuration file to edit in the WebUI. w/o that file I cannot complete the configuration. The service is running but not more... :-(

Any suggestions? Is it possible to generate this file (again)?

The config.sh and ftp-settings.sh files no longer exist. All their settings are now in the "Allsky Settings" page in the WebUI.

Actually, if you have a local or remote Allsky Website enabled, their configuration files will appear on the "Editor" page.

tried to install the remote website, a nightmare... correct login data but impossible to login... :-(

Please attach ~/allsky/config/logs/remoteWebsiteInstall.log.

Also, try running testUpload.sh --website.

I have no such a file in the folder... :-( I only have a "testUpload.sh-REMOTEWEBSITE.txt" in which is written that the login failed. I extracted the password from my FileZilla, even did not work...

The testUpload.sh-REMOTEWEBSITE.txt file is in ~/allsky/tmp.

The file I'd like to see is ~/allsky/config/logs/remoteWebsiteInstall.log. It logs all the actions taken during installation of a remote Website, including any errors detected. It should tell me why it was "impossible to login".

If that file does not exist, it means either you didn't run the remoteWebsiteInstall.sh program, or something major happened.
To see if the file exists, run ls ~/allsky/config/logs/remoteWebesiteInstall.log.

Please run testUpload.sh --website.
It should tell us why you can't log in.

I found the remoteWebesiteInstall.log first time after manually initiating the Install.sh, neither before. It only consists the errors I know already. But I attach here...

They mean there's a bug in the makeChanges.sh command. Thanks for reporting it. It's fixed in the next release.
Sorry about that.

You can ignore them for now, but they are supposed to display a warning message, so it's likely some change you made is incorrect.

Aren't you lucky!!
You are having problems connecting to the server via a URL and via ssh.

For the connect to host wp1115195.server-he.de port 22: Connection refused message, that's a networking/server issue, not an Allsky issue, and I'm not a network person so I can't help.
You'll need to get that resolved before remoteWebsiteInstall.sh will work.

When you go to https://www.astrojensen.de/allsky/, does it work? I get a message that basically says "https" doesn't work, and it converts the URL to use "http".
On your Pi, run curl https://www.astrojensen.de/allsky/ and you'll see

curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

plus some other lines. The 60 is the same Return code in your first screenshot from remoteWebsiteInstall.sh.
The workaround for this is simple: change the https to http in the Website URL and Image URL fields in the WebUI and it should work (once you fix the ssh problem).

If you're wanting to use "https" I assume you'll need to update the certificate which is probably done by contacting the service provider.

Hmmm... certificate seems to be okay. Whatever, I will pause this task and try to optimize the local website, there is something to learn about scripting for the overlay ;-)
