RPI5 Stop working and need to reboot.

I have a massive problem with my Allsky camera on the RPI5, where I first thought it was a camera problem as described in another thread here. For me the Pi hangs when the timelapse is created. My Pi stops completely and can no longer be reached via SSH or the web interface. The red LED lights up and I have to restart it manually. No errors appear in the Allsky log until the failure. The last log enty befor failur is

After that I restarted the Pi manually.

Hi Thomas,
sounds like a common underpower error.
When the Pi has to compute the timlapse Video it will use signiticantly more
"Juice" than when it takes Photos.
How is your Pi powered? Original Power Supply for the Pi 5?

I agree with @Soncebos. If the whole Pi locks up and has to be rebooted, it's not an Allsky issue.

The Pi is powered at 5.3V 10A lab bench power supply, so this can not be the reason.

Stranger things have happened. Do you have another power supply and/or power cord?

My roof lock recently died. When I used a 12v 4 amp power supply the new lock would constantly lock, then unlock. With a beefy 10 amp unit the lock didn't do anything. With a 30-amp unit it works.
The prior, identical lock worked with a 2-amp supply.

Power supplies can be finicky.
