Local webUI Image browser very slow

Anyone else having issues with the local WebUI interface for looking at individual images being very slow?

I go to look up a specific image (like I saw a fireball in the timelapse and want to find that frame), so I open the day's images and click on one, and I just get a loading animation where it sits for minutes on end.

Eventually it loads, but it is very slow. I'm guessing it is trying to load every image around the selected one in the carosel underneath... Is there anything that can be done to make this faster?

This is on our "to fix" list, but I don't know when we will get to it.

What is your Create Image Thumbnails set to in the Post Capture Settings section of the WebUI?
If it's off, turn it on and wait till tomorrow and see if it's any faster.

I have some changes coming in the next release, which I am currently testing

This happens to me also, but to be clear, it is the view of the individual image that is slow toad, not the thumbnails themselves. Sometimes after rebooting, the process of viewing an image speeds way up.

Not yet but if you are happy to help test it then we can point you in the right direction. Just bear in mind it's not totally stable at the moment and is changing.

Having said that I have had it running in my two cameras for the past few months :-)
