Overlay not working after fresh upgrade

I'm not getting any overlay working at all. I enabled debug level 4 for module overlays and I'm seeing the following error in the /var/log/allsky.log

This looks like a problem with the venv having Adafruit-PlatformDetect==3.71.0

The VISIONFIVE2 wasn't available until 3.72.0

Why was 3.71.0 installed?
