Virtual Sky Star Map Not showing thumbnail imagery.

I am not sure if this is a bug in Allsky, or the VirtualSky subroutine. But here is my issue.
My Allsky site is hosted on a remote server, not the PI
When the Starmap is engaged and overlayed onto the allsky image, when a messier object is moused over, there is no thumbnail image displayed. I Have looked at other allsky cameras and have noticed the same thing on their sites as well.

Is this some setting I have missed? Any thoughts? Could it be an issue from not being hosted on a pi, but on remote server?

@creinemann I actually spent a bit of time on this yesterday but didn't have a chance to reply.
When I tested it, https to the server7 site didn't work. Thomas's website uses http so when it called the server7 site with http it worked. The sites in the first 3 examples use https, and some ( all?) browsers notice when an https sit is trying to access an http site, and automatically convert the http to https. And since the server7 site didn't work with https, your examples failed.

I even sent an email letting the server7 people know https was broke with ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID. I just got the same error using https with Chrome and Samsung browsers on my phone.

Does https work for you? If so, what browser are you using?

@EricClaeys Interesting, my site is https, and the changed settings worked for a few hours, I had two folks confirm it on the fbook page, then poof... now the image thumbnails links are not working. Perhaps Server7 is disabling hotlink for images?

renders a privacy error - NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID as well.
I was using chrome and edge to test, but as I said, I made no changes since I switched the code to https: now nothing.

@EricClaeys So, I got mine working again, but the fix is only for my local browser, in this case, Chrome. Under Settings - Security and Privacy->Site Settings, I added server7.sky-map.org to the allowed images setting. Of course, this would only work on my browser on any other site using the server7.sky-map.org in the virtualsky.js file. I think then the burden of the permanent 'fix' is on the server7 side.

@EricClaeys Shortly after I changed my browser settings, and all was working, again, poof... the image thumbnails stopped. Maybe sky-map.org has a limit on how many time an IP address can pull images?

@EricClaeys yet another change, I looked at some of the domains on sky-map.org. And found the main public one is now https://secure.sky-map.org

So I changed line 2935 to:
img = p.img || 'https://secure.sky-map.org/imgcut?survey=DSS2&w=128&h=128&ra='+(p.ra/15)+'&de='+p.dec+'&angle=0.25&output=PNG'; they may have redirects that are not handling the server() requests properly.

And so far it is all working on my page. Can you have a look? I'd like to know if it is working from another IP address. https://usradioguy.com/allsky/
