Problems with modules and Overlays

Hello everyone. This is my first problem with the software. I've been using it for years and it works perfectly, but today I'm running into this issue.
Suddenly, the information in the image isn't being reflected. If I go into the "Overlay Editor," I get an error message saying the Overlay module isn't active.

So I go to "Modules," and surprisingly, the Overlay module isn't active. I click "enable," it saves, but the Overlay isn't reflected in the image. And if I go back to Modules, the Overlay module is still inactive. I don't know what to do.
Everything has always worked, and I haven't made any changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This problems it´s only in DaytimeCapture, at nightcapture works

Well, since my mind wouldn't stay still... I kept thinking of solutions.
It occurred to me to look for the Modules folder, go into the file, and change it manually... It worked! I don't know why it was failing in the GUI. But now all the info is showing up correctly in Overlay.

Do you remember exactly what you changed?

We're in the testing phase of a major release, and there have been a lot of changes to overlays and modules.

If you'd like to help us test it, let me know.

Here, I opened the file corresponding to the error, in my case the daytime capture.
And, i only change "false" for "true" where I highlighted it in dark.
Only that line; it was set to false and I changed it to true.

Collaborating with these changes, keep in mind that my Allsky is 200km from home, I wouldn't be able to physically access it in case of failures.

To get the newest version of ALlsky, which is still in test mode but is pretty stable, do a "normal" upgrade but for the "git clone ..." command run:

git clone --depth=1 --recursive --branch v2025.xx.xx https://github.com/AllskyTeam/allsky.git

There are a lot of changes to the Overlay Editor in this release, so hopefully it fixes the problem you had.

I would upgrade as Eric has suggested.

In older versions of allsky there was an option that would disable modules that took too long to run, it may have been this.

This feature is not in the new release
