rtl_tcp support?

I find this project very interesting, I have an RTL-SDR stick plugged into an OpenWRT router running a RTL_TCP server for the network.
Obviously this code is tailored to accessing a local RTL dongle on Kodi, I just wondered if its feasible to add a remote server option.

Know what you mean and would be really good to allow it through this path. Unfortunately just don't find the time to really switch it over to it.

I'm glad that at least I made it usable again on Kodi Matrix.

If it would support this it could also use the regular way to the Kodi binary repo and would allow downloading via Kodi.

Maybe there will still be someone who will take it on, or I'll get more peace to do it myself in future.
