If you decide to create an extra version for desktop, you could even set up a sync mechanism between desktop and Android, e.g., via webdav.

Although I like the idea, it seems like it would require a significant amount of work. Additionally, I’ve never developed a desktop GUI application before, so I’m not sure I could create something that would be worth the effort.
