When a user chooses the state "colors" in "button color", this leads to no hover state being visible at all. This feels off and there should be a slight distinguishment instead of simply nothing. Here are screenshots for clarification:
Default Button hover vs no hover: You can see that the button gets "focused"; there is a tiny distuingishment when the cursor is on a button ("Get Shared"). As far as I can tell, this is all throughout Anki, for example also in the dark blue "Study Now" button, which gets just a tiny bit lighter when hovering.
When a user has said function set to "colors", this doesn't exist. The colored buttons, as well as all the grey buttons, have no state. For example "Edit" on the left and "More" on the right are exactly the same when hovering or when not hovering.
Thanks!
