Hey @AncientJames , do you have a rough timeline for this release? I saw the GTA video and really wanna see if I can integrate with a personal project I'm messing with.

I haven't been treating it with any urgency (it's a hobby project, and I'm very wary of turning it into a chore). One of the reasons I haven't just uploaded the current working state is that as long as it's just me using the code, I'm free to make all sorts of breaking changes on a whim.

I'm just working on a personal project. But in my opinion, the earlier the release of a project, the better. It'll be rough and incomplete but that's okay- its a work in progress. I'm not really smart enough to figure out the math needed to achieve this, but I'd love to start on this display. Though I can't do anything with it right now as it stands.

I found this project because I'd seen the holographic fans and bought some, but there's no way to independently control what's displayed (and how). And due to language barriers with the Chinese suppliers I can't communicate what I'm asking for. But this project is a lot more than the hologram fans. Ultimately imo this is a competitor to the off the shelf solution of the Voxon VX2 which retails for nearly $7K USD. Exciting technology, huge price point. But you've provided an avenue to prototype with it.

You're not holding me back but I'd love to use what you're working with and see what I could do.

Like @sethtallen, I'm also waiting for you to release code that can make this work. I would not know where to start right now if I would program something myself. I know you need to make slices of a 3d scene so that the display will show the right slice when it is in the right position. In one of your posts I read that everything is running on the Raspberry Pi. So it is running the game and does the slicing on this same single board computer. Very impressive. I also read your bit banging to the displays to be able to get these high refresh rates. So I guess you must have reverse engineered the protocol for the display? I'm very impressed with your work @AncientJames
