Question on how to use Virtex

I installed everything on the Raspberry Pi 4. I saw you sudo command for Vortex. And I am about to start my build - I finally have all the electronics (hopefully) and I've 3D printed everything.

While I assemble it all, I was going to take a look at Virtex. But I have no idea how to launch it.

In terminal I can't get it to work. And I don't see an executable file.

When you build the project, all of the executables end up in the build directory - if there were no errors, virtex should be there. I can't remember if I made it part of the install step too, it might not be in the multivox bin directory.

Well... I'm not finding it...

I looked in build. I see "viewer" and "vortex" but not virtex.

I looked in build/build and it's empty.

I looked in build/CMakeFiles and found virtex.dir but nothing seems obvious. Inside that dir is src, and in there is a dir called simulator, but it's also empty.

What is the exact filename with extension that I'm looking for?

It sounds as though it failed to build. If you rerun make in the build directory, it will report any build errors. I'd guess you're missing one of the libraries. You could try sudo apt install libx11-dev libegl-dev libgles-dev
