Hour usage graphs

Hi,

It would be nice if we can have a view with bar charts of hour usage per day/week/month/year saved in a db for all different temperatures.

I don't think full history is available in mind so it would be nice to save it.

Hi @floviolleau, thanks for sharing some idea.
There're some basic usage statistics somewhere in the API, I can try to extract that to begin with.
Maintaining another one in parallel for more enriched info could bring a few challenges such as:

• being only relevant when going through this app and only this app (since the official or other app wouldn't track it the same way)
• adding a new backend dependency for the database and database aren't usually cheap
• have a background worker checking if stove is up

I'll try to work on extracting what's already there on the API (nvm.total_counters, nvm.service_counters, status.counters...), see what we can come with and then we can think if a potential follow up phase could still make sense

Gave a first stab at it (available in prod) and in the end that's all I could come up with given what's already available within the API.

It's not that great, we need to think of a good architecture solution if we ever want to track more advanced data that the API doesn't provide yet. Or we could look further if maybe the feature exists somewhere else in some API or even ask upstream if they could enrich their API with it.
Maybe you have some other ideas how we could pull this off.

Addressed the alarms details part, it's live on the web and will soon make an Android release too.

As for the graph evolution, it's challenging without introducing a database and even with it we would have inconsistencies if we use different apps. So I'll keep that for much later or try to reach out to Edilkamin see if they could provide something from the API
