In my current situation, the SeedVault app is broken and I can't really backup my app reliably because my phone can't be rooted.

Hence I am delighted to have found your app!

is it possible to for you to consider adding a weekly backup setting because i'm not sure it's worth it to set up macro droid or tasker just for this.

This feels like a essential feature, Macrodroid and Tasker are not open source applications which is a turnoff for GrapheneOS and privacy conscious users alike.
