360 controller won't talk to AntimicroX

Hello Folks,

I'm running Linux Mint 21.2 on a Lenovo laptop --- everything seems to be updated. I installed AntimicroX 3.3.4 and the app detects the 360 controller. However, when I press a controller button AntimicroX does not recognize it --- what am I missing?
