DUO2: Touch sreen sometimes became unresponsive #163

I love this ROM so much, but I had to revert to the stock ROM after one day. The problem is that sometimes the touch screen freezes and only responds again if I use the Surface Pen to make it work. Is there any solution to solve that? :( |

@wavelimited We are aware of this problem (Issue #136 ) and it is due to a firmware-level bug with Surface Duo 2. We are working on a fix for this. Hopefully, soon we will be able to solve this. |

While you're here, you might want to just enable swapping to Right screen while using single-screen postures, since it only happens when the left screen is on. This will allow the phone to sidestep that issue until we figure out a more permanent fix. Be aware that this may still happen when opening the phone as there is a case where the Overlay can appear on the left screen causing the touchscreen to lock up, in this case you will need to use the pen. |

I too am having touch problems, in single screen posture or dual screen. It just won't register taps for me sometimes, at all. Did I miss a step someplace while flashing/setup? This is also not a retail device, so perhaps that could be part of the reason. |
