The update procedure to get latest fixes after running Android 15 on the Surface Duo?

First of all: thank you, a really great implementation (I use a beginning of May release).

Flashing steps quote: "Once you flash a duo-de version using the above steps, subsequent updates will be received using OTA. You can check updates using settings -> system -> system updates."

I am pretty sure this not valid anymore because it says in German when going this path: "Diese Aktion kann von keiner App ausgeführt werden." which is something like "This action can not be performed by any app.".

But there seems to be an option in "DUO-DE Treble Settings" > "Updater" which offers using "PhhTrebleApp" or "system update" for searching of updates. Both ways: no updates found and it says "security patch: 1. August 2023" on the screen as the latest installed (both ways).

Please explain how the curent official supported way works to get the latest official DUO-DE updates (no experimental meantime releases). Addionally, please mention the release cycle.

If the security patch date information mentioned above is a bug please fix it according to your release schedule.
